About us.
Marmalade Architects is an architectural design practice with a focus on designing and delivering beautiful and sustainable residential homes in and around London. Marmalade Architects was founded in 2021 by Peter Drysdale. Having gained qualifications from Sheffield, Newcastle & Westminster Universities, Peter went on become a chartered architect, specialising in the high-end residential sector, gaining over a decade of experience working on projects in and around southwest and central London. The foundation of the practice is a focus on client integration, ensuring that each project is unique, personalised, and reflects the client's desired style. As such, we take great care to understand our clients' needs, and work closely with them throughout the entire process to ensure that their vision is fully realised.
Sustainability.
Sustainability is an increasingly important aspect of architectural design and something that we actively try to incorporate into all of our projects. Sustainable building methods and technologies not only help to reduce the carbon footprint of our buildings but they can also represent good value for our clients. As a practice we’re dedicated to staying on top of the latest sustainable technologies and the policies surrounding their implementation to ensure our projects not only meet current regulations but are also ready for changes that will impact our buildings in the future. To further commit to our sustainable credentials we actively offset our carbon footprint by contributing to the planting of new trees and forests each year.
